We race our kids around to all sorts of sports, lessons, music, engagements…but do we ever take the time to teach them just to breathe? Or just be? My lovely friend Kim opened up i2Evolve in Red Hook. Expressive art + meditation – how great is that? If you haven’t already, check it out. She’s amazing, and the tools she is arming our kids with actually to breathe through it all are invaluable. Check it out!

I wanted to write about the incredible job that i2Evolve did for my daughter’s 6th birthday party.  Kim and Rob thought of EVERYTHING, and it was so delightful to watch my daughter, and all of her friends spend time creating works of art while joking and laughing.  We’ve never had a more enjoyable and stress-free birthday party, and for a winter party when options are more limited, we can’t recommend i2Evolve enough.  We love this community.

So excited for my son and the community that i2evolve is here! The kids work through art mediums, yes! They are invited to explore feelings and sensations, textures, colors; and Kim, who guides them and holds the space, is so nurturing and has the loveliest voice you ever heard.

Kim loves what she does.  She’s organized, creative, bright, gentle, and loving.  She creates a niche that wasn’t here before.  It’s more than an art class.  Her adult classes are fantastic.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again for your participation in the CAPE Youth Rally.  It is with great enthusiasm that I report that the mindful activity sponsored by i2Evolve was the most popular event amongst youth.
