New Health and Safety Protocols for Covid-19

Summer 2020

i2Evolve is committed to the health and safety of our youth and adults we serve.  As we begin to open our doors to the local community, agencies, and schools, we would like to outline our new policies and procedures.

Off-Site Procedures (schools, agencies, hospitals, residential homes)

  • We will adhere to the social distancing of 6ft between personnel and youth unless safety or core function of the work activity requires a shorter distance.  Any time personnel is less than 6ft apart from one another, personnel will wear acceptable face coverings.
  • When visiting a site, i2Evolve personnel will post social distancing markers using tape or signs.
  • i2Evolve will work with agencies to ensure that in-person gatherings will be held in open, well-ventilated spaces with appropriate social distancing among participants.  Our groups will be limited to 8 participants.
  • i2Evolve will establish a designated area for entering and exiting locations to limit contact to the extent possible.
  • i2Evolve will limit the sharing of materials.  Each participant will have their own set of art supplies and meditation equipment for the duration of the program.
  • When i2Evolve visits your site, adequate supplies will be readily available.  This includes soap, hand sanitizer containing 60 percent alcohol, paper towels, tissues, disinfectant wipes, and no touch garbage cans.
  • If an i2Evolve worker tests positive for COVID-19, i2Evolve will immediately notify state and local health departments and cooperate with contract tracing efforts, including notification of potential contacts, while maintaining confidentiality by state and federal law and regulations.
  • To Ensure the business and employees of i2Evolve comply with protective equipment requirements, we agree to do the following:

-Implement mandatory health screening assessment (questionnaire, temperature check) before employees begin work each day and for essential visitors asking about (1) symptoms in the past 14 days, (2) positive COVID-19 tests in the past 14 days, and/or (3) close contact with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 case in the past 14 days.  Assessment responses will be reviewed every day and such review will be documented.

**Note: Services provided are currently administered exclusively by Kimberly Popolizio, Owner, and Operator of i2Evolve.  Any potential assistants will adhere to the above stated.

  • To provide services in the safest manner possible, i2Evolve will follow any additional agency/school guidance/guidelines for additional precautions related to COVID-19.

Preventing the Spread of COVID-19

We adhere by the CDC’s requirements to ask agency staff to be vigilant for symptoms and communicate with i2Evolve personnel if they are experiencing symptoms or a child in their care has or had symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.  An isolation area will be provided in all workspaces that i2Evolve shares with youth and adults should anyone begin to experience symptoms while class is in service.   We encourage all participants to wear face masks when 6ft distancing isn’t possible.  All adults responsible for the youth participating in our program must also adhere to the mandatory health screening assessment as it pertains to themselves and the youth they serve upon entering the site of service.
